AutoFill with multiple accounts in the same domain

When having multiple accounts in the same domain, as its a typical case in Intranet, all accounts with the the same second level domain will be offered. Unfortunately even if there is only one with exactly the matching FQDN. Is this a Safari "feature" or would there be room for improvements in pwSafe? Would be cool to have this more unerring like in Firefox.

  Hi Michael,

  There is definitely room for improvement in pwSafe, thanks for raising this. Just to be sure, at which point do you currently see too many options offered is that at this point

  Second question: do the entries of the accounts have the URL field filled?

  I have updated the logic, pwSafe for macOS will now use

  • the FQDN if there is an entry matching it (like sub.site.apple.com)
  • otherwise, the (registered) domain name, if there is an entry matching it (like apple.com)
  • otherwise, the first part of the domain name (like apple)

  This will be in 11.1.4, please try it out when it becomes available (probably within a week) and post a comment here how it works for you.
