Storing passkeys in pwSafe
CompletedPasskeys are a form of passwordless authentication that uses cryptographic keys stored on your device. They are based on standards developed by the FIDO Alliance.
When you log in, you authenticate using a biometric method (like a fingerprint or face scan) or a device passcode. The device then uses a private key to sign a challenge from the server, which is verified using a public key.
Passkeys are designed to be seamless and secure. You don’t need to remember or type anything; just use your biometric data or device passcode

Dat lijkt me nuttig, zeker wanneer ook passwordsafe voor Windows hieraan zou meedoen. Is daar zicht op?

Feature is becoming increasingly requested/suggested by Oz Govt apps and others to access their sites.
I would really prefer to have a single solution covering all my security needs, why isn’t there more interest in this feature from other users?Just giving the post a bump to try and get more votes.

Thanks for your feedback Tony, this feature will definitely be added as more and more sites are supporting passkeys.
The autofill extension will be extended to support this, so it will integrate seamlessly in your browser. As you probably have noticed, we are currently busy getting autofill on Mac on-par with iOS, once that is finished this would be a great next step on both platforms.

Version 11.1.3 has been submitted to Apple for approval, should normally arrive with 1-2 days. This will bring passkeys support to macOS too!
