Use entry shortcuts to place one entry in more than one group

If you want the same password entry to appear in more than one group, you do not need to duplicate the entry. You can create an entry shortcut instead.

An entry shortcut is a reference to the original entry. This lets you place the same item in another group so it is easier to find later. Because the shortcut points to the original entry, changes are reflected everywhere automatically.

The option to create a shortcut is available in the context menu: long-press an entry on iPhone/iPad, or right-click on Mac.

When this is useful

• when one entry belongs in more than one group
• when you want easier navigation without keeping duplicate copies
• when you want edits to stay in sync automatically
