If you need to relink your passwords in pwSafe to a .psafe3 file stored in Dropbox after resetting or changing devices, follow these steps:
- Link pwSafe to Dropbox: Open pwSafe, tap the gear icon in the top-left, then select "Link to Dropbox". Sign in as prompted.
- Enable Dropbox Sync: If the "Link to Dropbox" option is unavailable, you may need to purchase or restore the "Buy Dropbox Sync" feature. If previously purchased, redeem this within the App Store using your Apple ID.
- Import the Safe File: Tap the "+" button at the bottom right and select "Link to Existing Dropbox Safe". Browse to your desired .psafe3 file (e.g., "web logins.psafe3") and select it.
Once done, pwSafe will retrieve your safe and passwords from the Dropbox file. Ensure Dropbox is installed and linked on your device if you don't see Dropbox listed as an option.
If issues persist, verify Dropbox connectivity and sync status, and check that the required purchasing options are enabled or restored within the app.
