If you find that your pwSafe password database only contains older passwords or is missing recent entries, it is possible you are accessing an outdated safe file. pwSafe stores your passwords in a file on your device or, optionally, on cloud services. Here are steps to help you locate the most recent version of your safe:

Using iPhone Files App:
- Open the Files app (not pwSafe).
- Use the Search function to look for files named
psafe3. - Check in different folders such as iCloud Drive > pwSafe, On My iPhone > pwSafe, and Recently Deleted. Screenshots of these folders may aid troubleshooting.

Via Web Browsers:
- Login to drive.icloud.com in Safari or another browser and search again for
psafe3.

Tip: The most recent psafe3 file is usually the best candidate for your current password database.
Password safe files generally do not disappear; a recent version may exist in one of these locations. Once located, open the file from within pwSafe to restore access to your latest passwords.
