pwSafe has two types of settings
- Global Settings: These settings affect the overall behavior of pwSafe, like whether passwords are hidden or shown by default, how long passwords are kept on the pasteboard etc.
- Safe Settings: These settings pertain to a safe and can be configured for each safe individually. Examples are the auto-lock timeout and the default username.
Here is how to configure these settings.
iOS
- Global Settings: Tap the gear icon top-left. If the icon is not visible, first close the current safe.
- Safe Settings: Unlock the safe you want to configure. Tap the gear icon at the bottom.
macOS
- Global Settings: Select Settings from the pwSafe menu, or use the keyboard shortcut ⌘,
- Safe Settings: First unlock the safe you want to configure. Select Safe Settings from the Safe menu, or use the keyboard shortcut ^⌘,
