If you encounter a 'sync failed API route error' in pwSafe on iOS when syncing with Dropbox, and notice that your passwords are not syncing, follow these steps to re-establish sync:
- If you just added or changed an entry, write down the changes or copy/paste them to a temporary location (e.g. the Notes app)
- From Settings (gear icon, top left), select Unlink from Dropbox
- Open Settings again and select Link to Dropbox to re-establish the connection.
- Tap the + icon (bottom right) and select "Link to existing Dropbox safe" to re-add your Dropbox safe.
- Re-apply the saved changes
These steps should resolve the 'sync failed API route error' and make sure your device is in-sync with Dropbox.
