If you want to update your pwSafe Cloud account to a new email address, but receive an error that the new email is already in use, follow these steps:
- Contact pwSafe support and request deletion of the account associated with the new email address. This will free up the email for use.
- Once support confirms the account has been deleted, open the Cloud settings in the pwSafe app on one device.
- Tap or click your current email address and enter your new email address.
- You will receive an approval email to confirm the change. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the update.
- After updating on one device, other devices should update automatically when refreshing settings. If not, try logging out and reconnecting on those devices.
This process ensures you do not lose any data and can successfully update your pwSafe Cloud account email address.
