Adding a Phone Number to an Entry in pwSafe

If you want to add a phone number to an entry in pwSafe, you may notice that there is no dedicated 'Phone' field available. This is due to the fact that the Password Safe format used by pwSafe does not define a Phone field. For more details, you can refer to the official specification (section 3.3 lists the fields).

However, you can store the phone number in the 'Notes' field. This is a flexible field where you can add any additional information you need.

Alternatively, you can use the URL field to store a phone number. For example, you can use:

tel:123-456-7890

This has the additional benefit that a phone call will be triggered when you 'open' the URL.
