Earlier versions of pwSafe for iOS provided a feature called Smart Pasteboard, which enabled alternating between the username and the password on the pasteboard by tilting your device.
With iOS 15, Apple basically killed the Smart Pasteboard feature as pwSafe is no longer allowed to access the pasteboard if it is not the currently active app on your device. Although this is generally a good privacy protection, it does prevent the Smart Pasteboard from alternating the pasteboard contents.
The modern way
The AutoFill extension built-in to pwSafe provides a better solution to use both the username and password without returning to the pwSafe app. Please make sure you have enabled the extension as shown on our website.
Additionally, check the settings of your safe after unlocking it to make sure the "Show entries on Auto Fill" option is enabled for your safe.

Smart Pasteboard was a cool original feature of PwSafe that I used to use and it worked well. This was years before iOS provided password autofill features.
