Using a Safe from OneDrive on iOS with pwSafe

The pwSafe app can access .psafe3 files stored on OneDrive using the "Link to Existing Safe" option. You can also open the safe directly from the OneDrive app, which will then open in the pwSafe app.

AutoFill can use a safe stored on OneDrive or another location available through the Files app after you link and open it in pwSafe. AutoFill remembers the most recently opened safe. If you later open a different safe—for example, one stored in pwSafe’s iCloud Drive or Dropbox location—open the OneDrive safe in pwSafe again before using AutoFill. Safes linked through the Files app do not currently appear in AutoFill’s safe-selection list, and you may occasionally need to reopen or relink the file if iOS or the storage provider no longer grants access.

Regarding functionality, you can make changes to your safes and sync/save them back to the OneDrive location. The synchronization is handled by the OneDrive app on iOS.

You can open multiple safes from different OneDrive accounts, as the app maintains a list of the last three used safes in the "Open Recent Safe" menu.

Currently, for optimal functionality, it is best to store your safes on iCloud, Dropbox, or locally on the iPhone, as these options provide full feature support.
