If you encounter an error message stating "Unable to Purchase - This item is for an app that was purchased by a different Apple Account. To buy this item with this Apple Account, you must first purchase the app." when trying to purchase or restore purchases for pwSafe, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Set Up Family Sharing:
- On your device, go to Settings.
- Tap on your name, then tap Family Sharing.
- Tap Set Up Your Family and follow the onscreen instructions to invite your old Apple ID to the family group.
- Invite Your Old Apple ID:
- After setting up Family Sharing, tap Add Family Member.
- Enter the email address associated with your old Apple ID and send the invitation.
- Accept the invitation on a device signed in with your old Apple ID.
- Enable Purchase Sharing:
- Once the old Apple ID is part of the family group, go to Settings > Family Sharing > Purchase Sharing.
