You received an email about the transition from PayPal to Apple App Store of your pwSafe Cloud subscription. The email asks you to re-enable automatic renewals, here are the steps to do so:
- First check the version of pwSafe on your device. You need at least version 10.1.3 to complete the next steps.
- On iOS tap the Cloud button at the bottom of the app, on macOS open the pwSafe menu and select "pwSafe Cloud..." or use the keyboard shortcut ⌥ + ⌘ + C.
-
- If your device was registered in the pwSafe Cloud before, a dialog will appear showing the current status of your pwSafe subscription, including a Renew button. Just tap/click this button to enable automatic renewal through the Apple App Store and you are done.
- If your device was not registered in the pwSafe Cloud before, a dialog will appear asking the email address of your pwSafe Cloud account. Enter the email address shown in the email you received asking you to transition to the new payment system.
- You will receive an approval email, please click the Approve button in this email.
In case the Approve button does not respond, right-click the button and select "Copy Link". This will copy the address (something like https://...). Open your browser and paste the link in the address bar of your browser. - Continue the registration in the app by tapping the "Verify Approval" button. Your device will be registered to your existing pwSafe Cloud account and enjoy its benefits like automatic backups.
- Reopen the Cloud status dialog (as described at the start of this item) which should now show you the status of your pwSafe Cloud subscription, including a Renew button. Just tap/click this button to enable automatic renewal through the Apple App Store.
- You will receive an approval email, please click the Approve button in this email.
