I need to re-install pwSafe on my old Mac (macOS 13 or earlier), how can I do that?

The current version of pwSafe for Mac requires macOS 14 or higher.

If you have an old Mac device that cannot be upgraded to macOS 14, you can not download pwSafe from the Mac App Store just by searching for pwSafe, that will lead you to the message that your device is not compatible.

If (and only if) you purchased pwSafe before Feb 1, 2026, you can re-download the last compatible version of pwSafe for your Mac, which allows you to re-install the app in case any issues arise. Just follow these steps:

• Launch the App Store application.
• Ensure you are logged in to the App Store with the Apple ID you had used when you purchased a license for pwSafe from Apple.
• Select the “Store > Account” menu item.
• In the list of purchases, click on the cloud button next to the pwSafe app.
• Confirm that you like to download an old version compatible with your operating system.
